Dr. Williams Elementary School is one of five elementary schools in Urbana School District 116 serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade. At Dr. Williams Elementary, our philosophy is to provide an educational environment that enables all students to succeed. We will provide a learning environment that is intellectually challenging and supports student’s physical, emotional, social, and academic needs. Our students are learning skills today that will empower them to lead tomorrow.

Attendance
By the end of the 2026-27 school year, our school will increase the consistent school attendance rate from 64% to 70% using data from Panorama.
Culture & Climate
By the end of the 2026-27 school year the number of incidents of physical aggression will be reduced by 20%.
Reading
By May 2027, 35% of 1st-5th grade students will meet proficiency standards reaching the 50th percentile or above on NWEA MAP in literacy.
Math
By May 2027 the percentage of K-5 students meeting proficiency standards in mathematics on the NWEA MAP assessment will increase from 11% to 35%.
